Kyle Paz came into round 2 hoping to follow through with a better performance after his 14th-place overall performance in the last race. He is still getting used to the upgraded level of competition with World Championship riders joining him on the grid this season. After his first test in the opening round at Circuito Do Estoril in Portugal the challenge is still daunting coming into Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
He improved his starting position since the last race where he was at the back of the grid by qualifying at 15th. But this would be short lived as it got rough in the middle of the pack early on which pushed him all the way to the end. But even as he was looking at the entire roster from behind at 24th place, “The Wonderboy” would find his way back just in round 1. Taking it one lap at a time, he would slowly chip away at those in front of him to claim a respectable 14th place finish.
Next up is round 3 in Circuito De Jerez, Spain on June 4 where Paz looks to continue his improvement with the Yamaha Philippines Stylo Bike Racing Team.
